How Big Is Your Computer Music Collection

I have other CD's all over the house I haven't put on here yet. I will probably get them all ripped to the computer before too long now that I have Windows Media Player 11.

I am really enjoying it and I have been putting a lot of my music on the computer since downloading it.

I currently have 1,551 songs for a total 119 hours of music.

How much do you have?

(I'm not saying i have a lot... I'm just saying I'm nosey. )

Let's hope you save them as MP3 with NO DRM!

Most of them were ripped as WMA's with all DRM intact. I have had a hard to getting DRM laden files onto a mp3 player so I have purchased Tunebite for such occasions as this.

Tunebite has been worth every penny.

I have a couple Gig, I think... couldn't tell you how many songs though...

My car stereo reads mp3 files so I make a few mp3 cd's every now and then for the car.

I've been collecting mp3's since WAY before NAPSTER.

33.1 Gig in 14369 files

Every CD we own goes straight to mp3 format as soon as we buy it then we never listen to the CD again. My car stereo has a USB port for memory sticks, so I just change the songs out every now and then.

I'm still in the 20th century. No music on my PC. Some audio clips from movies, though. E.g., when I shut down, little Anakin Skywalker's voice says "Will I ever see you again?" On startup, Darth Vader says "You should not have come back!"

I have both preaching and singing downloaded here but not nearly as much as you guys do.

In regard to music, I have quite a variety, everything from preaching to worship to classical to some pop, some of the 40s classics (love those), to some pop and R&B, Celtic, Sarah Brightman, etc. .

My music taste is pretty eclectic.
