Re: What is blashphemy against god spitit
This is a question I have struggled with for years. It is more than just the words one speaks against the Holy Spirit. It is the very condition of the heart. When Jesus said this, He was openly rejected by the Pharisees, and they went as far as saying that the miracles and works He did were done by demons and demonic power. It was an absolute and total rejection of the work of the Holy Spirit, and their absolute refusal to believe Jesus was who He said He was.
They rejected He was God in flesh, the Messiah.
They rejected the works He did.
They rejected the power by the works done.
They rejected the Holy Spirit's conviction.
