The Reason Why Kaepernick Kneeled
An interesting article that involves a former Army Green Beret and NFL player Nate Boyer, Colin Kaepernick, and the desire to express peaceful protest.

Re: The Reason Why Kaepernick Kneeled
Haven't watched an NFL game this year. I won't watch another NFL game while these pampered athletes do their "protests."
Kap wants to kneel because it's easier than actually doing something to fix the issue. I don't see these players protesting the black on black violence in Chicago or other metros.
Interesting how POTUS changed the protest from anti-cop, blm, anti-flag, anti-anthem to a "UNITY" protest this past week with some teams STANDING, arms-locked together. I've read some tweets from blm activists who are very angry about that.

Yes. Doesn't change my opinion. Easy to take a knee and post tweets.

Uh, no. It wasn't easy for Kaep or any of those other guys to take a knee-- especially with the foreknowledge of the onslaught and mischaracterizations that were bound to follow.
Especially for Kaepernick, the protests take mettle.

If I remember correctly, he was kneeling to protest the killing of blacks by the racist police.
So, again, this is a false narrative.
Totally bogus that any of the three main incidents that started this whole issue were never about race.
Except in the Sorosbots minds who want to destroy the US.

HA!
"“He said, 'I think that would be-- I think-- I think that would be really powerful.’"
He thought he would be a hero to everyone. I highly doubt he knew there would be the fan reaction against him. And I would bet the house that if he knew he would be sitting on his couch, tweeting bitter tweets on Sundays instead of playing football, he wouldn't have done it.

It didn't take Kaepernick long to realize that many in the general public were not supportive of his protest. This is why I said he displayed mettle. It wasn't an easy thing for him to do.

Re: The Reason Why Kaepernick Kneeled
A president took a cheap shot at athletes using such a presidential phrase as SOB.
Some athletes responded by either turning down a chance to visit the White House or to take a knee at a game.
If we condemn violent protest, then we are somewhat obligated to celebrate peaceful protest.
What those citizens did was to engage in peaceful, nonviolent protest against the status quo.
God forbid it would interrupt someone's favorite pastime.
What they did was no different from the actions taken by Rosa Park.
DT has taken cheap shots at those in the movie business and at athletes. How many other segments of society will he take aim at ?
He should be refreshing himself with such terms at the MAD policy and nuclear winter.
