KKK and BLM join forces

Apparently, the KKK and the BLM "protestors" arrived at Charlottesville on the same bus?

Not out of the realm of possibility, considering there are businesses now which are specifically for astro-turf protests. You pay a business a fee and they will hire actors to protest for/against whatever you wish.

"Crowds On Demand" is being accused of paying actors $25/hr for the Charlottesville protest. Snopes "interviewed" them to find out if it was true, and they denied they support hate groups. BUT, they did not deny protesting AGAINST hate groups.

Again, they deny being involved in Charlottesville, but there was this ad placed by Crowds on Demand:

From the Crowds on Demand website, Protests and Rallies menu:

"""Protests and Rallies

Whether your organization is lobbying to move forward a healthcare, financial or other social initiative, we can organize rallies and get media attention for your causes and candidates. We also assist individuals, companies and political organizations with protests and picketing campaigns. We’ve protested governments, corporations and everything in between. We’ve achieved results on campaigns on everything from ending institutional discrimination in a religious organization to getting refunds and compensation for hundreds of homeowners who bought hazardous land from a real estate firm to forcing a patent trolling company to back down. Some of these campaigns are long and drawn out while others can be resolved quickly. Regardless, we endeavor to deliver campaigns that bring out the best qualities of our clients’ messages and to achieve tangible results.

Case Study: Presidential Public Opinion
Applications:
-Political Rallies
-Public Relations

A foreign government hired Crowds on Demand to help generate a positive reception for its newly elected leader during the UN General Assembly. The concern was ensuring that the leader was well received by a US audience and confident for his work at the UN. We created demonstrations of support with diverse crowds. We also used the media primarily local and national outlets to bring more attention to these demonstrations which led to a mostly positive portrayal. The crowds that we deployed drew in more supporters creating a strong presence for this leader at the UN and an improved perception of him by the American public."""

Re: KKK and BLM join forces

Last night, the POTUS was here in Phoenix. There were a lot of protesters on the streets outside the convention center. The police did a good job of containing them until later in the evening, when police said some protesters started throwing rocks and bottles at them. Phoenix PD used tear gas to disperse the crowd.

I watched a lot of news clips and feeds from people there. All I could think of was, "We're being duped." I kept wondering how many of those were astro-turf protesters, paid to be there.

It's pretty well known that there are people on Twitter being paid to respond any time the POTUS or the media puts out a tweet. The majority aren't even actual people, but bots which post canned responses.
