Seems like New York, Yale, Rutgers and the Ford Company all need to be renamed.

What you keep failing to address is that those who are stridently calling for CSA monuments to come down are also calling for these to come down.

Oh. So having slaves isn't so bad, but going against Uncle Sam is literally Hitler. Robert E. Lee is bad, NOT because he was a slave owner, but because he was loyal to his state when they decided to secede from the Union.

Thus, secession from the federal government is an unforgivable sin deserving of eternal hatred, while slavery itself is just "meh, whatever".

Using the Constitution as a guide, please show us where the seceding States "betrayed their country" by seceding from the Union.

JD, do you even understand any of the dynamics which caused the South to decide to go to war against the POWERFUL North? Do you know that Jefferson Davis was what is known as an Anti-Secessionist? Did you know that New England almost seceded over the war of 1812?

JD, most of what you post on this forum stems from emotion.

Instead of looking at all the angles, doing the heavy lifting required to understand the bigger picture. One that leaves behind the puppet masters who run your life through popular mainstream media.
