Sir Isaac Newton's Thoughts about the End-time

Oh but I really, REALLY Love this quote:

"This I mention not to assert when the time of the end shall be, but to put a stop to the rash conjectures of fanciful men who are frequently predicting the time of the end, and by doing so bring the sacred prophesies into discredit as often as their predictions fail."

Rest of the article http://www.cnn.com/2007/TECH/science....ap/index.html

Please take the time to read it before responding.

It is interesting to know that there were newspaper prophets even back in 1700. Good to know it isn't only a fad of today...

I'd like to know his reasons for predicting the occuring of the apocalypse to be no earlier than 2060.
