Kickstarter for spice rub

So I have this spice rub that I've been working on and it's pretty amazing. If it wasn't amazing I wouldn't keep making it and stuffing my face with what I use it on. Lol. It's a savory and sweet rub that goes well on pork, red meat and poultry.

Anyways, I'm working on a Kickstarter to make large batches of it and to have it professionally labeled and packaged.

I'm also planning on making a low carb version that I think will do awesome considering how popular of a diet that is and it's a diet that many who have weight loss surgery are put on as well.

I'll post the link once I get everything finished

I'm calling it PawPaw Tuckers Sweet & Savory Spice Rub, naming it after my grandfather who I lost when I was 15 in a cropduster crash.

Sounds good bro!

I like rubs better than sauces when it comes to steaks, ribs, and grilled chicken.

I don't want to know proprietary secrets, but if it is just a rub, why would you need to work on a low-carb version?

Low carbs?

Don't change anything.

Sounds interesting! Good luck with the venture. I saw some local venture has a rub in a local grocery store. I would have tried it but it was $5.99 for onoe of those spice sized bottles! Too rich for my pocketbook but I kept thinking, man he wouldn't have to sell too many of those to make some serious money!

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Why is 5.99 too much?

Because one of the ingredients for now is sugar which adds some nice caramelization to the meat.

I'd love to use granulated honey though...better for you.

Well if it's the small bottle I'm thinking, that's pretty small.

I have no idea what I'll charge yet...I'm going to do as much as I can myself to cut costs.

I have access to a professional kitchen so I can mix everything there.... just looking into packaging and labels.
