Gaelic as in "Scottish"? Or Gaeilge as in 'Irish'? Or Gallic as in Breton, spoken in France?

Re: names that mean deliverer

Joshua in Irish is Iosua (pronounced OH soo-uh). Whereas Jesus is Iosa (pronounced EE suh).

Alexander in Greek means 'saviour or helper of man', the Irish equivalent is Alastar (Alastair, Alaistar, Alaistir, Aleister, Alaistair, etc).

The word tarrthalai (pronounced tar HAW lee in Ulster and TAR haw lee in Connaught) means 'rescuer' but is not actually used as a proper name. I guess you could go with Tarholly? lol

As long as he doesn't go ghetto with

Ali-*, Alestuuurrr
or
Tahr-haw-leeigh

It's difficult making these names ghetto. I tried.
