Trump Playing Dangerous Game
For the past week, since the defeat of the awful AHCA bill, Trump and his sycophants have been targeting Justin Amash and the House Freedom Caucus.
There are very few good men in Congress. Amash, Massie and a few others from the HFC are a couple of them.
Trump told Rep Meadows "Oh, Mike, I'm coming for you," after Meadows told him he would not be voting for he horrible bill.
Also targeted is Sanford and Amash. In fact, Dan Scavino tweeted a request today for the "#TrumpTrain" to defeat Amash in the primary.
For you Trumpsters, who have supported and cheered on Trump the past year...Do you agree with Trump and Scavino?
Should the WH be targeting good conservatives in Congress?
I'm finished trying to find any good in Trump. He's finished. I hope he fails. I hope he's impeached. I hope he and all his minions - Bannon, Kushner, and the rest - are tossed out of the WH in disgrace.
Trump wants war against conservatives, he will lose.

I've already voiced strong opposition over this, even sending a message to the White House. However, you are steering way off the path with your statement,

Really? Why you want him impeached if he did not break a law? What is it you want him to fail at?
Let's hope rather he comes to his senses and listens to his voters instead of Paul Ryan. He's still the only one who will build the wall.

Obviously he'd have to break a law. Whether it's something with this Russia business or something else. His administration has shown it doesn't care about the law or ethics. (Conway's illegal promotion of Ivanka's clothing line and today's violation of the Hatch Act with Scavino's tweet.) If he's impeached, Pence becomes POTUS. As much as I don't trust Pence either, it's the only chance to keep the WH in 2020. At this rate, Trump will lose in 2020 and the Democrats will again gain control of the WH. There's a chance the GOP could lose the Senate in 2018 if the POTUS continues down this stupid and ridiculous path.

So far, the Russia thing has come up empty. But allow me to urge you to have patience. This article by Pat Buchanan gave me some hope ......

Re: Trump Playing Dangerous Game
I don't understand why Trump likes to shoot himself in the foot. I don't get it! During the campaign, he did and said really stupid things which were counterproductive.
Here you have the whole of the Democratic party gunning for him; you have the CIA acting as a rogue agency, possibly trying to set Trump up to take the fall; you have progressives and Soros-paid astroturf activists trying to cause all kinds of anarchy and chaos; you have the FBI investigating his administration and transition team . . .
So this is a good time to attack the good guys -- guys who are on your team??? I thought Trump had a good brain, the best brain. I wish he'd use it!
smh
I don't understand the guy. But I am serious. If Trump wants war with the HFC, Amash and Massie and Meadows and Paul, etc ... I hope he does something to get impeached and soon. It's not even close if I had to choose between Trump staying or Amash and the other good guys staying. Not close at all.

If anybody actually believes the so-called Freedom Caucus is genuinely conservative, I have a bridge for sale in Arizona, formerly owned by one John McCain.

Re: Trump Playing Dangerous Game
This stupid distraction with Trump and the GOP carpetbagging traitors is just that - a distraction.
Trump is letting in tons of "refugees" (despite what the FakeNews Media™ has lied to you about) and our country is going under, but no we need to squabble about how many band aids we should put on Obummercare. Pfft.
The whole thing is a rigged carnival sideshow.
Impeach Trump? Hmm. Obummer couldn't get impeached for obvious blatant treason, but Trump should be impeached because of Ivanka's clothes business and Trump's crudeness?
We're toast.
Get self sufficient, have kids, train them to rule the future, and look forward not backwards. Meanwhile, put a fork in it, THIS generation is done.

Re: Trump Playing Dangerous Game
Trump has backed down from designating the Muslim Brotherhood as a foreign terrorist organization.
Trump has allowed DACA to stand.
Trump caving in to communist federal judges acting illegally on the refugee issue. Trump has in fact set the bar at 50,000 refugees per year (though it is now reverted back to Obummer's 110,000 or whatever per year). Of course, setting the bar at ZERO is just too much for any politician, even though most Americans want a screeching halt to third world immigration PERIOD.
Congress, the Courts, the WH - they are all in cahoots to see which of them can be the stupidest and most unresponsive to the real needs of the nation.

I don't know about all the members, but I do know a few are conservative. Amash, Massie, and a couple others.
