Faith is a revelation of Gods lack of limitation

Lately I've been studying and meditating and asking God to teach me about different topics and aspects of His nature and also things like faith, spiritual authority etc.

It's been a interesting journey because I'm seeing scripture that I thought I knew and understood in new perspectives.

The title of this post is what came to me today as I meditated about the nature of faith and limitations we tell ourselves is just something we have to deal with.

When the Lord God Almighty stepped out onto the black void of empty space He stood alone for He was, is and always will be God all by Himself.

With His voice He spoke the universe into existence.

And before the echo faded countless stars ignited and bloomed with new light.

Planets in varying sizes, compositions and orbits appeared and so did comets, nebulae, black holes.

Not just planets but think of how diverse the Earth is. Weather patterns, landmasses, oceans,plate tectonics..He did this not just for this planet but for countless others.

David said "If I ascend into the heights of heaven you are there and if I make my bed in hell you are there."

I could travel billions of miles through space and never be able to leave His presence because He is omnipresent.

.....And we question if He can heal...Save...Deliver?

We limit God based on some misguided belief that He can only act under certain conditions, the atmosphere must be right, the location must be right, the song has to be right, the preacher must use the right catch phrases and be properly enthusiastic...

When God shows up we give excuses why we can't receive our miracle like the man at the pool of Bethesda when to be truthful we have become comfortable with our infirmity and only make a half-hearted token effort when the pool is troubled...

Something hit me last week about belief and faith. Many equate belief with faith, but they're not the same.

Someone can believe something only if they see evidence of it. That's not faith. Faith is when you believe something without having it proved in the natural realm.. Jesus said Thomas believed because he saw. But blessed are those who haven';t seen yet believe, And faith is the evidence of things not seen.

Just thought to mention it.
