Bill Clinton is just happy that it's this Weiner that is getting Hillary into trouble.

Re: Fbi reopens clinton email case

I would love to be a fly on the wall in Bill Clinton's office, in the Hilary campaign office, in the oval office. I bet there is a lot of cursing, object throwing, and utter chaos going on.

Re: Fbi reopens clinton email case

So if FBI reopened case then they believe they may have something substantial. This is not good news for Clinton.

Why? If anything, the cursing and object throwing occurred with the previous investigation. I highly doubt anything will come of this re-opened investigation.

I hope I'm wrong. I would LOVE to be wrong on this and something be found which would actually cause the FBI to convene a grand jury to indict Hillary.

I read a tweet saying Rush Limbaugh believes Comey re-opened it to distract the public from more Wikileaks leaks.

Not sure why it would need a distraction, not much to the Wikileaks stuff so far.

Would it be President? I would imagine he'd rather be called Dear Leader or Der Fuhrer. And no need to practice, it's not going to happen.

Re: Fbi reopens clinton email case

"Americans already know Hillary Clinton’s lifelong pattern of corruption. It is abundantly clear that her handling of classified information on a private email server was grossly negligent, as the FBI admitted this summer. The question is whether our top law enforcement agencies will ever act to hold her accountable.

For decades, the FBI has earned a reputation for fair and impartial enforcement of the law, free of partisan influence. Director Comey's previous half-hearted investigation of Hillary Clinton did serious damage to that reputation, and this latest revelation affords the FBI the opportunity to begin to repair that damage.

The FBI has yet to provide access to the information that was used in its previous decision, as requested by me and other Senate Judiciary members, including Chairman Chuck Grassley, and it should do so.

Whatever new evidence has been found should be thoroughly investigated, and I hope that -- unlike with the prior investigation -- Director Comey will demonstrate the courage to uphold the law and restore the integrity of the FBI.

Elected officials, no matter how high their position, should be held accountable for criminal conduct. The rule of law matters, and it should apply equally and fairly to us all." - Senator Ted Cruz
