Children's day in Brazil
Today is a special holiday in Brazil called children's day. We are trying to do something special for children the whole month of Oct. Sunday night we had over 150 street children plus our church children...we gave them presents, clothes, shoes...served them ice cream...and sang and sang with them. We also had a puppet show. We have taken extra food and clothes to others...toys to those that could not come along with a shirt or something...
However today is the official holiday...so today we are taking care of one group here on our church land and Sat we will have the street children to come.
We have been up since early preparing for today..We will have hot dogs, cold drinks, cotton candy, cake, and popcorn...we also have some little things to give them and prizes...
They can play games, swim, play soccer or whatever....Awesome unforgettable day for them. I will try to post pictures tonight if I still have strength! ha....
