Faith comes from preaching.
|
Faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Jesus Christ is the manifestation of God. God is the Father. God is Holy, and He is Spirit. It's all in HIM (Jesus Christ).
Prayer made in faith,
Quote:
The beginning of a Saved life starts by grace thru faith not of works, obeying Acts 2:38.
|
God calls, people respond by repenting, being baptised in the name of Jesu Christ, and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Quote:
Thorough, heart changing, life changing repentance,
|
Repentance = stop doubting, stop disobeying, start believing, start obeying.
Baptism doth also now save us... why tarriest thou? Arise and be baptised and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
Quote:
Tongues is the initial evidence of receiving the Holy Ghost.
|
Amen. But the gift of the Spirit also produces a purified heart. I believe in entire, instantaneous sanctification by faith in the finished work of Christ, that it's holiness or hell, that whatever you need from God you'll find it in the Holy Ghost.
HERESY. We must through much tribulation enter the kingdom of God.
Quote:
One man and one woman family for life. I hate divorce for any reason.
|
God hates the putting away. But being divorced is not itself sin, it's what happens afterwards that gets a lot of people in trouble...
Quote:
Bible based holiness and da separation from the world.
|
Holiness or hell. 'Standards' are not holiness itself, but are part of being a Christian living according to the commands of God.
Quote:
Revival and Evangelism go hand in hand.
|
Any revival that does not produce repentance from sin and obedience to God is not a genuine revival.
WHEN ye fast... not 'if'.
I have given you an example, that you should wash one another's feet.
Doctrine saves those who hear and believe it.
Quote:
A physical paper leather bound Bible, (or similar)

Preferably KJV.
Quote:
Supporting God's ministry with tithe.
|
Tithing was agricultural for the support of the Levites, widows, fatherless, and strangers.
Give, and it shall be given back. Sow sparingly, reap sparingly, sow bountifully, reap bountifully.
Quote:
The church is where His people come to worship, and hear God speak to his gathered people.
|
The church is the people, period. The church HOUSE, or some member's house, or a tent, or a park, or a rented hall, are irrelevent. Church is a people meeting together, not a place.
Quote:
God's Mercy is afforded to whosoever will because of HIS love toward us.
|
But God will not strive with a person forever, there is a point when the Spirit will no longer draw a person.
Quote:
The Grace of God is his enabling power to overcome sin, and continually work salvation in the heart of a sincere believer as long as they continue to walk in the light.
|
Grace delivers from sin, and keeps the
faithful believer in sanctification and justification
The altar is one's heart, not a piece of furniture.
God has set some in the church apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers.
Quote:
Elders ( if a full time minister)
|
Elders should be ordained in every church.
Not necessary, but occasionally we use a Bema.
Weak preaching is for catholics and TBN.
Quote:
A pastor setting a standard of dress and conduct based on his prayer life convictions that God has given him for dat assembly.
|
A pastor demonstrating the Bible standard of holiness, faith, prayer, obedience, love, and sincerity by his example, lifestyle, conduct, and when necessary by precept.
For both individuals, and churches, and for all men, rulers, the lost, magistrates, neighbors, family, and one another.
Many gifts, one Body. The work of ministry is something the whole body does, having been equipped by those in the church empowered by God to so equip them.
Amen, gotta have it.
Quote:
Preaching is da most important part of every service.
|
The most important part of any service is rendering due service to God, because God is most important participant in every service.
Quote:
Giving the man of God double honor.
|
Not lording over God's sheep.
Without which you'll never make it.
The church is an actual local assembly of two or more regenerate people meeting together to serve God, denominations are heretical and schismatic and worldly, the church of God is not a 501(c)3 state or federally incorporated 'non profit religious corporation', meeting from house to house (in one another's homes) is the preferred and Biblical format, open meetings where all may share as the Lord leads them, any and all teaching and utterances can and should be examined in the meeting, women should be quiet and ask their husbands at home separately from the church meeting, singing is for the purpose of teaching and admonition not entertainment, singing the psalms is commanded and normative, all hymns and songs must be theologically and doctrinally sound.
Standing is the primary Biblical posture for praying, not sitting down. Prostrations (bowing) and kneeling are also Biblical and should be occurring regularly. Sitting is for listening to teaching, unless you're old, sick, a young child, injured, or having some kind of problem.
Women are to have their heads covered when praying or prophesying, and men are to have their heads uncovered when doing the same.
Women ought to have long hair, men ought to have short hair.
The Fourth Commandment is still in force, and it ain't about Sunday.
Animals designated by God as unclean were never meant for human consumption and do not qualify as 'food' any more than spiders, rats, and bats would.
'Progressive sanctification' is often a code-word for unrepentance.
The church's primary mission is to inform everyone, both individuals, and entire nations, governments, magistrates, dog catchers, mailmen, bus drivers, prostitutes, priests, news anchors, and every single other person not named, in short, EVERYONE, that Christ is King and ALL are obligated morally to serve and obey Him in all things whatsoever under penalty of eternal death, and to call ALL men EVERYWHERE (including positions of governmental authority) to repentance and obedience to the will of God as revealed in his Word.
Man does not have an immortal soul, eternal life is only given to those who believe, the wicked will perish and be destroyed with no remedy. Nobody goes anywhere at death, except their spirit goes back to God and their flesh goes back to the dust, until the resurrection, at which all will be raised, some to everlasting LIFE, and some to everlasting damnation, destruction, and DEATH.
There is no one singular antichrist, there are many antichrists. Anyone denying that Jesus is the Christ, that he is right now come in the flesh, is an antichrist.
Bible prophecy covers the entirety of God's people's sojourning in this world, not just a short time at 'the end' in the future nor a short time in the first century.
Nobody's destiny is to 'go to heaven', nobody has gone to heaven except Jesus Christ, the saints will be resurrected to dwell forever on the earth (the meek shall inherit the earth).
Israel was to become a multitude of nations, recognising Jesus Christ as Messiah and King, and they pretty much have over the last 2000 years (in spite of the current apostacy). 1776 has more prophetic backing than 1948 ever could.
The Lord's Supper ought to be a full meal, including bread and wine. One loaf, one cup. Grape juice acceptable if it would cause stumbling for the weak.
Prayer at 9am, noon, and 3pm ought to be a minimum standard.
Every family ought to have daily family worship - praying and Bible study/reading together. Every father is accountable to God for teaching his family the Word of God.
It is a sin to willfully send your children to be educated by atheists and humanists using antichristian curricula, so it's either private school or homeschool.
Children are not to be separated from parents during the church's meeting.
Pagan holy days are abominations to God and to His saints.
Everyone needs mercy, so every Christian needs to be a living example of grace and mercy to everyone around them. Don't be so quick to write people off, lest you find yourself written off by God.
And such like things.
