Hit and Run

Im at home right now, but Im supposed to be at Dialysis. I get a knock on the door and a truck driver tells me someone hit my car parked in front of my house.

Thank God he witnessed it and got the information. Im waiting for the tow driver now and then I call Enterprise and they pick me up. Sadly though I did not have the rental part in my insurance, but I do get a discount through my insurance.

The driver of the truck said it was a young girl....she probably didn't have insurance. Im really frustrated lol...

I trust you have your company working on the claim?

Do you have underinsured motorist protection- if she does not have insurance you can claim that. If she does have insurance, you are then a claimant. If she has insurance and they are difficult, you are left to small claims court.

YOU do NOT have to take the optional insurance either, if you have insurance, it will protect the rental car.

Yeah, I got everything covered except the rental. The police are looking for her at the moment...so the insurance co isn't sure which coverage I will have. I guess Im gonna have to sue her too to get money for the rental obviously she is not that honest a person.

Now I am just waiting for the rental agency to pick me up. This is not a good day lol

You get towed and she drives away, go figure that. your streets pretty narrow if I remember correctly, dangerous to be going fast enough to do that kind of damage.

If we all sent Prax a dollar a day, he would be able to have enough gas to park.

Yeah, she had to be going pretty fast too considering the damage. When I looked in the car, change I had inside a little cubby hole was all over the place
