Melania Trump "She Provoked Them"

Julia Ioffe recently wrote a profile of Melania Trump, one with which Melania wasn't happy. Ioffe, who is Jewish, received a flood of anti-Semitic hate messages via Twitter and email.

Today Melania addressed the issue and blamed the victim for the hate messages, which included death threats.

"She provoked them."

Melania said she can't control her fans and some "maybe" went to far....BUT..."she provoked them."

Blame the victim. Classy.

She is not the victim, she was the first attacker.

That is what sometimes happens when you write a hit piece.
People will do whatever they can to hurt you back.

It wasn't a hit piece. And she is the victim

If I wanted to attack, I would have made an accusatory statement, not ask a question.

Here's the problem, sir: you're selective and biased in your encouragements, as you call it. You ignore one person, who has continually insulted and lied about me and you've only "encouraged" me "to be more Christ-like."

And I've asked you about this more than once and you continue to ignore me and not answer why it is. I can't take you seriously, when you have an obvious bias. You have zero credibility with me, and I know you feel that's an attack, but it's a statement of fact.

When you willfully and repeatedly ignore one person's personal attacks against me and focus only on my responding attacks, I'm done. I won't listen because you're showing bias.
