Bible Reading Marathon

Just curious to know if anyone has done this or something similar to it? We're planning to start one in a small group setting before we introduce it to the rest of our church family (we're a small congregation anyway). But instead of doing it in one straight reading, we're dividing it into 4 Saturdays, 10 hours each day with plenty of short and long breaks (pomodoro technique). Also we're just reading through the New Testament and we'll use an Audio Bible (drama version) and everyone can just follow along.

Any suggestions or best practices that you can share, maybe?
