Is it even BIBLICAL to state that we are created by God?

Does abortion kill what GOD has CREATED?

I don't understand why I can't get a straight answer.

Is every baby inside a womb of a woman the creation of God?

Or is it... the creation of man?

I choose to believe you know the answer BUT I'll endulge you. God said "be fruitful and multiply..." Conception is God'd method for human life to come into existence. But all life is created by God.

Psalm 139:13-14
For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.

No chance that King David was being poetic here?

I heard a preacher say something to the effect, "God created once and he placed the seed so that His creation can continue to reproduce--" implying to me that we were not created by God.

Also, as mankind, "we have the power and ability to create, which is why the devil works so hard and trying to mess us up because the devil can't create but we have that gift from God, the ability to procreate," said to this effect by yet another preacher.

Both of their statements make sense biblically to me, but I have just accepted in the past that EVERY LIFE was CREATED and even PLANNED by God.

I do not think man can create life as you seem to be asking. Man can only do his part, but it is God that does the creating.

How about babies created in labs, in petri dishes? Human sperm and human eggs combined in such a way to create a boy or to create a girl, depending on the desires of the couple who is paying for the procedure?

Is God creating them as well?

Is there something mystical or divine behind the reality that some lab creations become viable and some don't?

Or is the whole thing more simple-- God created us with seeds to that we can create?

Adam was the firstborn. Adam was special. Jesus Christ is compared to Adam. Jesus Christ is special. Both were brought in to this world, CREATED by GOD.

I do not get any inclination from scripture that Seth was CREATED by God. I do not get from scripture that any Jesus' brothers or His earthly parents were created by GOD.
