Man is Created: the Spirit

The Spirit-Being

Like the angels who preceded him, man (the spirit being) could not be bound to
the earth in his spiritual form. Man was made "…a little lower than the angels…”
due to his fleshly body, but with a higher calling. Adam was formed (not created)
in the image of the first begotten of the Father: “…who is the figure of him who
was to come…” We were formed in the image of him who was begotten in the
womb of a virgin girl; he who was predestinated before the creation of the world!
We declared that man’s calling is greater than that of the angels. Concerning
him in whose figure we were formed, the scriptures state: "For unto which of
the angels said he at any time, ‘Thou art my son, this day have I begotten thee?’;
and again, ‘I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a son?’ “ Then we
read, “…know you not that we shall judge the world…that we shall angels?”

Man was not created to be as the angels, but to reign as sons! As a spirit being,
man would not be able to procreate. Listen to the words of the Lord Jesus: “You
do err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God…in the resurrection they
will not marry…they shall be like the angels…” Even as the angels cannot beget
children, so man, the spirit being, will not NEED to beget children in the resurrection,
because he will live in an eternal, spiritual body.

The Church needs to open her spiritual eyes and believe that the will of God is
for us to rejoice in his Love and fellowship here and in heaven. God’s greatest
attribute is Love. It is because Love needs to be expressed that God created
man. The greatest explicit reason that man was created, was for God to express
his love in us! Man was not created to serve God, but to receive God’s love by
His Spirit, and offer that love back to Him. And how can man do that, only and
solely by first receiving God’s redemption and salvation offered in the body of
His son, Jesus Christ. Then will the Church begin to have a better understanding
of our relationship and position as God’s children, and we shall be able to draw
nearer to Him.
