Well people will come with some lame reason to spin this as a bad thing.

Re: Budget deficit drops to $435B
ha, well, we could only wish. "Deficit reduction" actually means "deficit still growing, just not quite as quickly." In this case, "only" $435B has been added to the deficit. Plus years of recurring interest, of course.
and wadr i would say "artificial news" over "bad." My understanding is that the "National Debt" is purely a way to milk the populace for the interest upon it. All of the QE seems to reinforce that the money is imaginary anyway.

Right, and nothing to back it up other than the full faith and credit of the US gov. Which simply means they can borrow or collect taxes.

Re: Budget deficit drops to $435B
you are living inside a Ponzi scheme at the end, and pumping $trillions into the black hole, at zero interest, with no hope of escape, looked at from the perspective of empire. don't kid yourself. Get some Keiser.

isn't our national debt at over 18 TRILLION dollars?! And isn't our Debt/GDP ratio at 102%?! As a country we owe more than we make.
When BHO took over our debt was about 9 Trillion and our Debt/DGP ratio was about 65%... but things are going great :/
