Tough Decisions

I dont deal with change well and after a year and a half of working 168 hours per two week pay period at minimum on the ambulance at the job I am currently at I am about to change jobs. Still will be in EMS but instead of working 2 and 3 days straight I will be working 12 hour shifts with another company further away but I will be home every night.

The call volume for the place I am working at now is low but I am tired of being away from my wife so much...its damaging our marriage...I feel like a part time husband.

The good thing is that there is a 3,000 dollar sign on bonus with this new company and I will be home every night. I will only have to work 86 hours a pay period vs 168 so my pay will be a little lower but I can pick up some extra shifts on my off days to make up the difference.

Hopefully there will be less drama and confrontation as well...its a larger company and they seem to have their act together.

We just need some serious prayer...we have been going through some crazy stuff and its put a huge strain on our marriage.

I'm not pleading and begging for prayer...just if we come across your mind when you pray itd be greatly appreciated.

Love yall.

If it is God's will for your illness then why are you seeking medical attention to get rid of it?

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
