More news at the U.N. in New York
I looked up the thread about Lee Stoneking speaking at the U.N. only to find that had been locked. I didn't spend the time reading everything, but I wanted to add this so here is a new thread.

In the last year 11 have been baptized and 13 have received Holy Ghost at United Nations. 40 nationalities involved!
I believe what has been going on at the U.N. is more than a one time address by Lee Stoneking. I wish I had more information, but I believe all this has stemmed from a metro mission in New York.

.
the number 40 is just the different visitors from other nationalities that have attended services.
the 11 were baptized
the 13 received the holy ghost
why are you adding these figures up??
.

Because these guys are shady and quote numbers "evangelistically" - so when you basically double the number, it begs the question..."involved how?" It's not an accusation, just a request for more information.

I don't know any more info. I just seen that bit on my fb today. I don't think that the informants are shady though. I do think that people can sometimes be guilty of exaggeration (I won't be casting stones for it). 11 and 13 are numbers that don't seem exaggerated though. Does it seem hard to believe that 13 could be filled with the Holy Ghost?

Please. You call them shady, then claim your post isn't an accusation. Lying doesn't become you.

I guess the TIC was missing. Or maybe we should address the sanctioned lying called "speaking evangelistically" under the guise of building faith.

Do you know he was lying? I doubt it. It'd be pretty stupid of him to do so, especially with people like you and others who pick at any perceived inconsistency.
Billy Cole did once say that ministers need to resist the temptation to lie when reporting on revival or miracles and healing. In fact, IIRC, his exact words were, "stop lying!"
That said, there's nothing other than your unbelief and shaded opinion that what was tweeted was a lie.

Brother Stoneking would NEVER say something over the pulpit that wasn't true!
How many of Bin Laden's wives were at the U.N. watching the baptisms?
