Post the scriptures for it.

You can make this same argument for sunday school in general.

I am actually for separate services for adults and children 18 and under. I went to a church where we were all thrown in one room and the pastor very rarely spoke on issues that I was going through as a teenager. His messages were more adult focused. My kids didn't like it also so I felt I had to have a separate service at home just for them.

Re: sunday school?

Not sure if we're using the term the same, but for our church we have Bible Study during Sunday School time (which could be considered "Adult Sunday School"). Afterwards, we rejoin as a group for Sunday morning service, meaning preaching. This allows the teachers to enjoy the preaching.

Is this along the lines of what you meant, or was it something else?

Re: sunday school?

Acts 20:7 is as close as I can take a stab...
But wait, looks like that may support breaking of bread together on the first day of the week more than "Sunday school" -oops
