Which NT Grace applies to us today?
Just because if OT Law gets a review, it should be finished with Grace. We are quick to the law sin judgement death part by nature, and too easily give only lip service to Grace. I have observed grace as an icon, a lofty ideal--even from the pulpit. i see conditional grace, partial grace, circumstantial grace (possibly as close as many ever get), familial grace, regional grace, religious grace, national grace, and species grace...with a little Grace sprinkled pretty much throughout.
Don't let the doctrine of Original Sin get you.

I agree grace is needed more than what it is in many circles. But how can Paul have not taught original sin if he said IN Adam all die and in Christ shall all be made alive?

Re: Which NT Grace applies to us today?
And why would original sin diminish grace?

Re: Which NT Grace applies to us today?
yes, that is the question--well, not so much the "why," perhaps, as that has many apparent benefits for subjugating a people, and cheapening life; but the how is instructive...

it is my belief that we got stuck @ the "all dying" part, in adopting the doctrine.

"Which NT Grace Applies to Us Today?"
Let me see if I understood the original thread and get back to basics.
There is an abundance of examples of God's mercies: there is only one example of GRACE.

Re: Which NT Grace applies to us today?
ok, in one sense, yes. I was referring to our attempts to practice Grace in our daily walk, as believers.

I don't know about "practicing" grace; I believe we grow into it. This is what believe:
We are all given enough grace to be saved, but it is dispensed according to our level of
maturity. As we grow in faith and obedience, more grace is dispensed to make us even
more responsible. Some attain maturity quickly, some are slower to learn; some learn quicker,
but are a little slower to obey...and so on. Every believer has the same amount of grace
to be saved and to mature in the faith: and then there are those called into the ministry...who seem
to obtain more grace to minister to the Church.
