June 29-July 4 Free Streaming La. Campmeeting

I know there is already a thread on the 2014 100th anniversary Louisiana District Campmeeting but I wanted to post one specifically alerting people to the fact that there is a free streaming webcast of the services.

Tonight is the second service and right now T.F. Tenney is talking. Later in the evening the speaker will be Jerry Jones who is a screamer for those of you who like that sort of preaching.

Here is a link to the page with the links to the webcast. Different links depending on if you are on a computer or tablet, etc.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Re: June 29-July 4 Free Streaming La. Campmeeting

For any of you watching campmeeting live I want to point something out. The music doesn't sound very good but with a background in television production I can tell you that this is a product of them using the house sound feed for the webcast I bet.

Christ Church Nashville is the only church I have seen a webcast of the house audio feed that sounds good. For a video feed to have good audio without the house acoustics most of the time you need a dedicated feed / sound booth where you can mix and EQ for broadcast.

I am betting the music sounds a lot better in person than we are hearing here.

The mix of the choir singing now sounds pretty good. Earlier during praise and worship was rough!

Ugh! Streaming is terrible tonight. Anyone else watching, or trying to watch? It keeps freezing and then goes blank, and I have to refresh the page. It works for a couple minutes, then the same thing.
