Worldwide, is Christianity growing or shrinking? Real Christianity, I mean. And by "real", I mean the kind that you are a part of, whatever that may be.

Oh, if you are not a Christian, use whatever definition you want to. I will use the definition that takes people's word for it: if you call yourself a Christian, you're a Christian!
Oh, and if you don't call yourself a "Christian" for whatever reason, but you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, go with that: are personal relationships with Jesus Christ growing or shrinking?

When I was a kid everybody believed there was a God. Whether they chose to serve him or not was a different story.
Nowadays, I have met several atheist. They will acknowledge this without any shame. I ask them why and they always say they became an atheist after the saw the George Carlin skit about God.

George Carlin is dead, but God is still alive.
Actually Christianity is growing, but not in America.
God is moving to other people.

Does God 'move to other people'? Really? It's not God's will that any should perish but all should come to repentance. And God is everywhere. So how exactly does God 'move on'?
At least in America, people have moved away from traditional religion. Whether they have moved away from God or not is up for debate. I do believe poople may be less likely to identify as 'Christian' for a number of reasons. This doesn't mean that Christianity is growing or shrinking, only that those who would have traditionally been included under the umbrella term 'Christian' are not identifying with that term. So without better parameters on the term and a good deal of research on my part, I wouldn't be able to answer.
Shrinking.
Christians are being killed every day.
False converts being led to believe in a false gospel while claiming to be Christian are packing Christian churches.
The Bible says that there would be a falling away.
People get discouraged, lose faith.

I rather take the opposite view that actually Christianity is moving on to other nations, where it is indeed growing by leaps and bounds, soon there will be more Chinese Christians in China than in all of America.
