No mask

I was on another thread and it struck me that in some ways we wear mask.

Would you wear a t-shirt that told everybody your theology?

Example: I believe that only people who obey Acts 2:38 are going to Heaven.

Example: I believe in eternal torment.

Example: I am a real Christian and you are not.

What do you think? Good Idea, or good way to start a riot?

Bad idea, there are too many wackos out there.

I do not want some nut case thinking he is doing God a favor hunting me down.
Remember Jesus said, there will come a time that whosoever killed you will think (in his demented way) that he is doing God a favor.

Remember that Tyndale and other of the early reformers had to go into hiding and publish their writings. They knew that they had to work in the shadows to continue advancing the kingdom of God.

Well, when you get religious nuts and atheists and agnostics stirred up, it can be a volatile situation, so no.

If I believed that, I sure wouldn't be ashamed of my belief. Simply because I wouldn't wear it on a t-shirt wouldn't mean I was ashamed of the belief.

Would you wear a t-shirt saying you Christians are ignorant and stupid because you don't believe like I do and it's time you stop believing in a fairy tale and if you want to believe in something stupid, believe in the cookie monster or something and then you will be as smart as me?

Assuming you believe that of course.
