The same way this scripture should be applied.
Mark 16:18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Take the whole counsel of God. Great, women should be silent in the church (and it's not talking about a building). Now that women are silent, where's the laying on of hands and the sick recovering.
See, it's relatively easy to keep women silent in a religious setting, but it's a whole nuther thing to have signs following those very same men who keep the women silent.
