obama: Clueless & Ignorant in the Oval Office

First, here's what Paul Begala, Democrat Strategist, had to say about Chris Christie last week:

Ladies and gentlemen, meet Gov. Schnook.

A schnook, for those who don't speak Yiddish, is a dupe. A fool. A patsy. A schnook is a victim, and Chris Christie is not convincing playing the victim. He wants us to believe that Gov. Straight-Talk, Mister No-B.S., credulously believed a pack of lies from his close aides.

He wants us to believe that, as a former federal prosecutor, he thought his one-hour "investigation" of this operation, which yielded no confessions, was all that he could have done to unearth the truth. The governor clearly hopes that his press conference, his apology and his firing of one whole person will put this issue to rest.

I previously posted comments from former PA Gov, Democrat Ed Rendell, who said:

if Christie did not know about the intentional bridge closure, then he "looks like an administrator who's totally lost control of his office and his staff."

So what about their man in the White House? If you call a Gov a 'schnook," "dupe," "fool," "patsy," and an "administrator who's totally lost control of his office and his staff," wouldn't the bar set for the Gov be the same for the President of the United States? I'd say the bar has to be even higher as President.

But for these political hacks, the bar is much lower for obama.

Consider the different scandals and issues which have plagued obama, in which his staff claim ignorance:

NSA Surveillance scandal

Obama was surprised to learn after leaks by Edward J. Snowden, the former National Security Agency contractor, just how far the surveillance had gone.” David Plouffe, Obama’s advisor, said, “Things seem to have grown at the NSA. I think it was disturbing to most people, and I think he found it disturbing.”

Healthcare.gov fiasco:

“Before it even launched, red flags went up about the Obamacare website. Health insurance companies complained about it, and the site crashed during a test run. But nobody told the President of any of it, the nation’s health chief told CNN.

Kathleen Sebelius said President Barack Obama didn’t hear that there may be problems with the sign-up portal for his signature health care law until it went live on October 1. That’s when the site nosedived into a technical abyss.”

IRS scandal

“I can assure you that I certainly did not know anything about the IG report before the IG report had been leaked through the press,” Obama said when asked about the scandal.

AP Phone Records scandal

“Other than press reports, we have no knowledge of any attempt by the Justice Department to seek phone records of the AP,” White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said in May.

Fast and Furious

“[E]veryone knows the President did not know about this tactic until he heard about it through the media,” Carney said in June 2012.

David Petraeus Investigation

In November 2012, Obama claimed he was also not told about the investigation into the emails of former CIA Director David Petraeus, which ultimately led to his resignation.

“[I]t is also possible that had we been told, then you’d be sitting here asking a question about why were you interfering in a criminal investigation,” Obama told Chuck Todd, of NBC News.

Jeffrey Anderson of the Weekly Standard wondered, “Why is this president so regularly cut out of the loop?”

if he really didn’t know what was going on, then that begs this question: Why is this president so regularly cut out of the loop? Why, as with Benghazi, does he so often claim that he didn’t know what was happening — until he later claims that he did?
