Escaping the Prophet

I just watched the first episode of a reality show called Escaping the Prophet. It is about members of the FLDS. Pretty interesting if anyone wants to check it out.

Re: Escaping the Prophet

I don't mean to be a party poop-er (wait is poop spelled backwards poop?) but these kinds of shows bore me to tears lol.

I never saw the appeal and there is little "reality" to them since they all know they are on camera and I believe a lot of the shows are scripted.

Im sure this one is no exception. Now if it was a documentary that might be different.

Documentaries try to aim for some semblance of objectivity while reality shows are for pure entertainment

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

I understand what you are saying, however, it still gives a glimpse into the CULTture (more word games there. that makes it worth watching from my POV.

Yeah, poop spelled backwards is indeed poop!

I've never heard of the show. Where are you able to watch it? We don't have TV.

I watched it online on one of those streaming videos that my son pulls up. I think it's primewire. If you decided to go out there you definitely want an ad blocker on your computer because you DON'T want to see some of the ads they have.

Here's the link:

http://www.primewire.ag/tv-2743666-E...on-1-episode-1

I use a firefox browser so I don't get any ads.

Re: Escaping the Prophet

Television shows are propaganda affairs run from the Pentagon.
