Obama and Christians?
Im wondering why the Obama White house raised the issue of a missing FBI agent with Iran and not a Christian Pastor being held in one of the worst prisons on this planet?

I was reading yesterday that Kerry raised the issue per the man's wife pushing them, but that Christian man's wife has been as equally vocal and they haven't tried to intervene

Let it be understood that Apostolic Friends Forum is an Apostolic Forum.
Apostolic is defined on AFF as:

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

It wasn't the Obama WH that raised the issue initially-- it was the AP or Washington Post. John McCain has stated that he believes the CIA misled Congress back in 2007 when the issue first surfaced.

Im talking about in negotiations with Iran.

the Obama admin has NOT raised the issue WITH Iran in negotiations with regards to this Christian yet they DID raise the issue of the missing FBI agent.

The Obama WH also wanted to keep a cross up that has been planted on a hill near San Diego, but in Federal court, the Obama Admin lost, and the cross must come down.

Why does any American government do what it does in negotiations with other countries?

Have an explanation why the OWH refuses to bring up the issue of this tortured Christian American in prison?

No I don't have an explanation for the OWH refusal, but it wouldn't be the first time where the American government has not intervened on thee sufferings and deaths of innocent human beings.
