Pastor John Cupit Has Finished His Course

Pastor John R. Cupit the Pastor of First Pentecostal Church of New Orleans, has been promoted to glory. He was one of the greatest Christians I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He loved souls regardless of race/color and was driven to win everyone to Jesus Christ. He walked in the spirit like few I have known. May his family and church family be comforted today and in the coming days.

Re: Pastor John Cupit Has Finished His Course

I was so saddened to hear of Brother Cupit's passing. I was fortunate to have sat on his pews for a few years. He was a spiritual general leading a very difficult fight in a very difficult city for most of his life. If you got to know him even a little bit you soon realized the overwhelming love he had for people. He was the most loving, non-judgemental person I have even met. He wanted to save the world, reach every soul he could and he tried his hardest to do just that. One day, in the final tally, we're all going to be astonished at the vast number of souls this one man reached.
My prayers are with his family, the First Pentecostal Church in New Orleans and the Apostolic Outreach Center. The world has lost a truly great man, one whose shoes it will take a giant to fill.

Peace
