Dems in Trouble in 2014

Quote:
Incumbent Sen. Kay Hagan (D-N.C.) is near the top of national Republicans’ target list for 2014 — and a new poll shows her lead over her potential GOP challengers has all but evaporated.

Against state House Speaker Thom Tillis, Hagan leads by only 2 points, 44 percent to 42 percent, according to the Democratic firm Public Policy Polling. She leads Rev. Mark Harris by 2 points as well, 43 percent to 41 percent, and nurse Heather Grant by 3 points, 43 percent to 40 percent.

Hagan trails physician Greg Brannon, the Rand Paul-endorsed candidate in the race, by 1 point: he leads 44 percent to 43 percent.

That’s a huge difference from PPP’s September poll, which gave Hagan leads of anywhere from 12 to 17 points against all possible GOP challengers.

Now, there is still a year to go...and that's an eternity in politics. But right now things are not looking good for Democrats who supported bummercare.

It's really too bad obama had the foresight to implement bummercare after the elections instead of before it. Had this been implemented October of 2013, obama and a lot of Democrats would have been thrown out of their offices by a landslide.

LOL ... the GOP really thought they were going to win in 2012 also... but, it didn't happen... don't believe those polls, it is the people at the ballot box.

Did you see the VA election last week? The polls had McAuliff up double digits a week before the election, only to see that lead evaporate over obama's bummercare lies and enrollment issues. McAuliff won by 2%, helped by a fake Libertarian who took over 5% of the vote.

So, you're right, sometimes polls can be deceiving; however, there is real trouble here for the Democrats who have shoved bummercare on people who didn't want it.

In California over a MILLION have lost the insurance obama said they could keep.

If you don't think that will translate to Dems losing votes at the ballot box, you're in for a surprise.

But again...a year is a long, long time. obama could turn public opinion back by supporting the GOP bill which allows people to keep their insurance as originally promised by obama. he could also obtain more support by delaying the mandate one year, as the GOP requested and now as the majority of Democrats up for re-election next year have also supported.

Mmmmk. So you're not that bright, that's ok. I guess the White House and Democrats' concern over that election is overblown and the candidates up for re-election next year who had a meeting with obama shouldn't be worried at all.

After all, even though McAuliff blew a double-digit lead within a week and ended up winning only by virtue of a fake candidate...he still won.
