Only You....

[The Lemon]

Had a very sober moment here this afternoon....as I was thinking of my family, my children, and wife - I was in my heart so thankful to God for letting me be a Dad and a Husband.

It suddenly dawned on me...how short and temporal this life is, how fragile and sudden it can pass away to where only memories remain.

I am reminded of the apostle when he made the comment to Jesus - "To whom shall we go, you have the words of eternal life." When this life is over, there is only Jesus.

In all the debates over the various doctrines and etc., may everyone of us realize that in the end when it is all done, only Jesus.

I pray to God that I am open and willing to obey and follow and to grow in His love and grace, for there are many things and many people that I cherish and am thankful for, yet even in all that...eternal life is only in Jesus...
