I DO!
For instance, Suppose you are with a group of people, and you hear an ambulance. I usually pray for the people being transported. Usually in English first, in my mind. But I don't know who it is or any circumstances, so I let the Holy Spirit pray thru me. And just as you can mentally say a prayer in your language, you can also pray to yourself mentally speaking in unknown tongues.
I believe Paul may have referred to this when he wrote,
Quote:
1 Corinthians 14:28 But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.

I don't believe that he meant to set there mumbling to yourself. Especially since I have experienced silently praying in my mind, in tongues.
The Bible says to pray without ceasing, I don't think that it means 24/7. But praying in unknown tongues is the best way that I know.
