Come Out Of Her My People

Let's face it. We are ruled in the churches by Pagan Christianity.
It was the Catholic Church that brought in the Trinity baptism.
The hierarchy of Clergy and Laity.
The paying of tithes.
Church buildings
And many other things.

And the only way that I see “to come out of her” is to start Home Churches by those that are completely dedicated to God.

And this makes my 3rd Sunday to a Pentecostal Church. I talked to the Pastor a few minutes after church, and told him, I didn't believe in man-made laws for the church. But we didn't have time to discuss it.

The main reason that I'm going is that I took 2 little great granddaughters with me, and now they look forward to it. Also a step grandson, age 27, that is trying to quit alcohol.
If I decide I can't go there, can I quit, and disappoint those 3?

It seems they may be pretty strict on the UPC rules, although I believe they are Independent. I told the Pastor that we, he, his wife, and I, need to set down and have a talk. But we haven't yet. Any suggestions?

Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

This isn't just a suggestion, “Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” I believe that we should forsake all the things that SHE brought in, and go strictly by the Bible.

I am persuaded that because of the destructive influence which Catholicism (specifically the RCC) has exercised, and continues to do so, upon even the One True Church, that this is why God so abhors this "MOTHER OF HARLOTS." Indeed, there should be no doubt about this for the words of Revelation 17-18 plainly states it as such.

The thing I believe most in our day fail to pause and consider is the simple fact that the "forefathers" of the contemporary Oneness Apostolic Pentecostal movement ALL came out of either the RCC or one of her many "Daughters." As a consequence they unwittingly held on to, and instituted as sacred rituals and practices, many of the abominable things which they embraced while members of the "MYSTERY BABYLON" religious system. As a result, many of the things you've mentioned (Trinity baptism; hierarchy of Clergy and their separation from the Laity; paying of tithes; Church buildings, etc.) have heretofore been commonly accepted as if they have a basis in Scripture when, in fact, they do not.

Indeed, it doesn't require an exhaustive examination of the writings of the New Testament to discover that the manner in which we "have Church" today bears little, if any, resemblance to that of the 1st Century Christians.

Are "Home Churches" the answer? If done properly then I certainly think so!

I think those who are not grounded may be good to go somewhere to get planted..but a person cannot go for someone else.You can lead em for sure..but they may think they need to go for you..oneday..who knows..:-)

I agree with the principal of coming out of false Churches, that is if their foundation is false. I did that in 1983. As to the more exact meaning from Revelation 18 I believe "Secret Babylon" is actually the USA.

Oh that we could go back to the foundation. And to do that, yes, a lot of stubble sticks and stones would have to be torn down. I'm not sure that there are many that would be willing to do that

Michael, while I often find myself in agreement with many of your opinions and conclusions regarding scriptural interpretation (for like you, I was a former devout adherent to the teachings of the Church of Christ until the age of 48), however, in this case I must respectfully disagree with your conclusion regarding the subject matter of Revelation Chapter 18.

The opening words of verse #1 clearly indicate that its content represents a continuation of that same "MYSTERY BABYLON" mentioned in 17:5, which is none other than the "MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH." Therefore 18:1 represents a continuation of that noted in 17:18, namely, "the woman" who is the "MOTHER OF HARLOTS," rather than, as you've suggested, a particular nation, kingdom or political system commonly known as the USA.

Indeed, as noted by renee819, the words of 18:4 commands that we "come out of her"; an explicit reference to the abominable pseudo religious system which God, in the words of 17:5, calls the "MOTHER OF HARLOTS." It is not commanding us to "come out" of a particular nation.

renee819, I am persuaded that the battles which lie just beyond the horizon of the morrow for all of God's chosen people will bring about a return to the way things were done by the Christians of the 1st Century. What man is unwilling to do of their own accord, circumstances will compel it to be so. Of this I am irrevocably convinced... change is coming to the manner in which we "do Church," but sadly, at this time, most are ill prepared for it!

I partly agree with both of you.

I believe that the Beast will rise up in America. And on his back, The Harlot Church.

Who is the Harlot Church? Right now it is the Catholic Church. But they are working alongside the United Religions Organization, to bring all Religions together. The Harlot Church in Rev 17-18 is more than just the Catholic Church. It is all Pagan Religions, including the daughters of the RCC, joined together as a One World Religion.

In the 60's Pope John made the statement, anyone baptized in the Trinity was a daughter of the Catholic Church, and if they wanted to join, they would not have to be re-baptized. He said that he was calling the daughters of the RCC, home.
