AG Holder LIED to Congress!

A couple of days ago, some documents were finally released which should have been released last fall. In these documents, we found out that Eric Holder personally signed the order to seize FoxNews reporter James Rosen's private emails, work and home phone records -- even his parent's home phone records were seized.

Wednesday, May 15th, I watched the hearing in which Eric Holder repeatedly deny any involvement with any subpoena on a member of the media.

Here's his quote:

In regard to potential prosecution of the press for the disclosure of material. This is not something I’ve ever been involved in, heard of, or would think would be wise policy.

Again, James Rosen was targeted by the DOJ last year, and Eric Holder himself signed the order.

This is an outright lie. Eric Holder stood and took an oath before beginning the hearing. He perjured himself.

I hope the House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte subpoena's Holder back to the committee and holds him accountable for his lie. Of course, if the Chairman does, I would not be surprised to see Obama rush to Holder's defense and declare executive privilege to keep Holder from testifying.

If Holder lied so easily...and I watched this live...Holder looked right at the Congressman asking the question and said very plainly, with absolutely no hesitation: "This is not something I've ever been involved in, heard of..." If he lied about this, I guarantee you he's lied about other things.

The President gave a speech yesterday and said "“Journalists should not be at legal risk for doing their jobs. Our focus must be on those who break the law.” Then the President assigned Eric Holder to investigate the claims.

This is the Chicago way! Have Eric Holder investigate Eric Holder. Hmmm...I wonder what Eric Holder will dig up on Eric Holder. This may be going out on a limb here, but I'm betting my money that Eric Holder will say that Eric Holder is innocent and has done nothing improper.

Well, other than lie to a Congressional committee under oath.

Said it before, I'll say it again...Eric Holder should be gone. Only this time, I believe he should be investigated and prosecuted for his lie.

Secret kill list not subject to oversight or review... check.

JCS telling Congress several times they get their authorization for warmaking from the UN and NATO and not Congress... check.

House Judiciary committee is investigating whether AG Holder perjured himself when testifying before the committee on the AP scandal.

The House Judiciary Committee is investigating whether Attorney General Eric Holder lied under oath during his May 15 testimony on the Justice Department’s (DOJ) surveillance of reporters, an aide close to the matter told The Hill.

The panel is looking at a statement Holder made during a back and forth with Rep. Hank Johnson (D-Ga.) about whether the DOJ could prosecute reporters under the Espionage Act of 1917.

“In regard to potential prosecution of the press for the disclosure of material -- this is not something I’ve ever been involved in, heard of, or would think would be wise policy,” Holder said during the hearing.

However, NBC News reported last week that Holder personally approved a search warrant that labeled Fox News chief Washington correspondent James Rosen a co-conspirator in a national security leaks case.

The panel is investigating whether NBC’s report contradicts Holder’s claim that he had not looked into or been involved with a possible prosecution of the press in a leaks case.
