It is a Mother’s job to be a teacher. Everyone dislikes being told what to do, where to do it, or how it is to be done, but that's your sweet momma's job
.
DT 6:7 And you shall teach them diligently unto thy children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.
Now there are so many things our Mother's teach us. Things we never forget.
Mother's teach us TO APPRECIATE A JOB WELL DONE "If you're going kill each other, do it outside I just finished cleaning!"
Mother's teach us RELIGION "You better pray that will come out of the carpet."
Mother's teach us LOGIC "Because I said so, that's why."
They teach us HOW TO MEET A CHALLENGE "Answer me when I talk to you! And Don't you talk back to me!"
They teach us FORESIGHT--"Make sure you wear clean underwear, in case you're in an accident."
Mother's teach us IRONY--"If you don't quit that crying, I'll give you something to cry about."
Mother's teach us about BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION "Stop acting like your father!"
They teach us about ENVY "There are millions of less fortunate children in this world who would love to have mother just like yours!"
Mother's teach us about JUSTICE "One day you'll have kids and I hope they turn out just like you!"
All these things our Mother's pass on to us are ingrained in our very fibers.
Just as we hide the Word of God in our hearts we have Mother's words as well.
A very special thanks, to all of you.
