Pentagon blocks Evangelicals and Roman Catholics

Here is a link to a news story saying that the Pentagon has blocked internet access to the Southern Baptist website from an unknown number of military bases on the grounds it contained "hostile content"

This just weeks after an Army briefing labeled Evangelicals and Roman Catholics as examples of "Religious extremism".

One more reason it is a shame the Evangelical voters sat out this last election. this is what two terms of liberal Democrat policies has wrought.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

The atmosphere of animosity and intolerance towards any religious group that does not toe the liberal line on gay marriage is greater than I ever imagined. I thought we were 10 or 20 years from where we are today. Not just on the gay issue but the entire liberal agenda.

The world hates Christianity, they are just getting bolder about it.

The cry "Christians to the Lions" is not far away at the rate we are going.

We are getting to the point where Christianity will be labeled as a mental sickness, or a dangerous cult.
Could destruction and burning of Bibles be far away? It already happened before.

I just saw a headline but have not had a chance to read the article that says it was anti virus or firewall software that was blocking the Southern Baptist site, not any intentional blocking. I hope that is the case

Wow. hard to believe the first one is real, or that you really believe the last one (was really the real cause).

What Houston said.

i don't think secular humanism is a democrat or republican thing. anti fundamentalism is in the interest of humanity and the military is the testing ground.
