I can't believe that no one has started a thread to discuss their disgust with the abortionist from Philly on trial for murder.

I don't know how he could possibly not be convicted.
I don't know how he can escape the death penalty if convicted.

But is it possible he could be acquitted?
Is it possible he could dodge the death penalty?
Do you think this case has any ramifications for abortion on a wide scale in Pennsylvania-- or even our country?

I don't see that he did anything wrong. He provided a legal procedure that this admin loves and promotes. In fact, Obama approved of what Gosnell did. As IL legislator, he refused to vote for a bill that would require an abortionist to give life-saving medical care to the survivors of abortion.

Not sure why people are so upset about it. I mean, an abortion is done the same way in or out of the womb. Just because he snipped their spinal cord after pulling them out, instead of before.... is that why a few people are mad?

I'm only a little sarcastic here...because it's the truth. Gosnell's procedure happens every single day, and it's protected, encouraged and promoted by this President and the Democrats.

He won't be acquitted.
He won't dodge the DP.
There's simply too much evidence damning this murderer.

Unfortunately this will do nothing to regulate or restrict abortion.

The President, Biden, and the media uses the children of SH to jam their liberal anti-2A agenda down our throat. They give wall to wall coverage using SH kids, yet they've all been quiet as about Gosnell's brutal murders.

You would think a story about a Dr exploiting and abusing poor, black women would have Sharpton and Jackson out demanding justice. But again, these kids and those women don't fit their narrative.

I'm shocked, shocked that Obama hasn't proclaimed that if he had a son, it would be (insert name of aborted boy). <tic>

No, they won't say anything about it for a few reasons:

3. Doesn't fit their agenda. In fact, any attention to this endangers their pro-abortion agenda. Any attention would expose PP as a minority-targeting, genocidal organization.

2. The kids weren't shot with a gun, so it doesn't matter. Scissors to the spinal cord deaths aren't as sexy as deaths by someone using a gun, especially an assault rifle. Besides, what's the difference between killing them in the womb or 2 seconds later outside the womb.

1. Obama approves what Gosnell did. After all, while in the IL legislature, Obama refused to vote for a bill that would require abortionists give medical care to infants who survived an abortion. Gosnell did exactly what Obama wanted abortionists to do...butcher the survivors. Let none survive.

The Newtown kids were lucky to die by gunshot wounds, and outside the womb. Because of that, they get endless Obama, Biden, Michelle, and press coverage.

Gosnell's victims weren't so lucky. They get a media and WH blackout. No one will tell their story, because doing so would enrage the public and cause a backlash against PP and abortion.

Ironic that the PP rep lobbied for the right to kill abortion survivors outside the womb the same time their hero is on trial for doing exactly that.

Update - Press Clown Jay Carney yesterday said that while Obama is "aware" of Kermit Gosnell's butchering of 7 babies and a woman, he will not comment because of the ongoing trial. Carney said it's "unsettling."

Uhm, Mr. President, Mr. Press Clown...if you wuss out and refuse to give your opinion on Gosnell because supposedly you won't comment during ongoing trials....does this mean you'll stop parading the Newtown parents of the SH tragedy around to campaign events and stop talking about SH during the events to try and bully Congress into bad gun control legislation?

Didn't think so.

Well, I don't know. I guess they view things differently. Even though this man did all these gruesome things, it's a bit different (in their minds) for a mother consent to going to a clinic to get a baby aborted (murdered) as a form of birth control, because she doesn't want it anymore, thrn form some one to kill babies that the mothers still wanted.

I mean if Gosnell was going from house to house, and breaking into people's homes and killing the babies in their cribs, in the same way that he aborts them, it'll of course probably get more coverage, because people can relate. In this case, it seems that the ones that are mainly outraged are the ones who are really against abortion.

Jack McMahon is sick and disgusting. He's Kermit Gosnell's defense attorney, and yesterday he took the whole issue to a new low by stating:

If we are going in this room to say a baby is born alive because it moves one time without any other movement, that is ludicrous.

He said this in an argument to dismiss all charges against Gosnell for the murders of these babies. He succeeded in getting 3 of the murder charges dropped for babies A, B and C.

Consider this with his statement: in sworn testimony, a witness stated baby C breathed for 20 minutes before its neck was cut and the spinal cord severed.

20 minutes breathing, and yet this defense attorney and judge believe that isn't enough to suggest it was murdered.

I hope the judge and defense attorney are haunted by the images and cries of these babies the rest of their lives. I hope they're unable to sleep and are unable to continue their professions because of what they've done. And God have mercy on their soul when they die.
