TSA Allowing Knives on Board: Smart or Stupid?

My wife is a flight attendant. I think since we've been flying wout knives since 9/11, why change now? Very stupid decision, and very unpopular w flight attendants and pilots. What do you think?

I think it is much ado about nothing.

Let freedom ring!

I would like much of our airline security to revert to the days on pre 9/11.

Pre 9/11 security paved the way to 9/11. There's not been a single hijacking or such terror attack since, much to the post 9/11 security measures. I fly a lot and I don't mind the extra efforts I have to go through to be more secure on planes. I think most Americans agree.

Re: TSA Allowing Knives on Board: Smart or Stupid?

I think it was a stupid decision to allow the knives.
I wonder what made them decide that was okay?
