You keep pushing the false narrative about Rubio being anti-women. Rubio doesn't want the law to come down at the Federal level, it should be a state issue. The Violence Against Women Act passed, at the Federal level. I'm sure you are happy about that.
Christie has become more unpalatable as time has gone on. If his gangster style turns people on, go for it. That doesn't mean the nation would be happy to fall in line and vote for him. Every liberal stance he has taken, beginning with gun control, is coming out and sitting on the table. He's done. Eat a doughnut with him and get over it.
I am not sure, and I won't be in town the week of CPAC 2013, but I would need to watch the speakers to see what they are trying to do. I have heard that the GOP wants Jeb Bush to make up his mind early. That makes me think that may be why they have him at CPAC this year. Not sure that is what is going on, but we shall see. Being that Rubio is a prodigy of Jeb Bush, it means he might could be his VP choice, but he certainly wont' be running for President against Jeb. I would especially pay attention to Jeb, Bobby Jindal, Rand Paul and Rubio's speeches.
I am a little concerned as to why Rand Paul voted for Hagel after voting no on cloture. Rand voted no on cloture to wait for more information and they never received it. Something is wrong with that. His explanation for his yay vote is that he wanted to stick with the Party and that the President usually gets leeway on his appointments. That isn't sitting well with a lot of people. But, they are saying he is very calculated and must have a good reason. I wonder if he was trying to, totally, separate himself from his father's foreign policy legacy. I don't know, but if that was his point, it sure set them apart. lol That isn't a good enough reason for me. Hagel had no business being voted in, for any reason, and neither does Brennan.
If Rubio were to run and still has a favorable voting record and I can agree with him on 90% of the issues, I will vote for him. Rand Paul has been my first choice, but I believe, even though he articulates his policies very well, he will be viewed as not having enough charisma. I personally want policy and could care less if he is boring or needed a pork chop tied around his neck to get the dog to play with him. But we are a visual society. It appears to me that the GOP and Fox News are already, even though giving him air time, painting him as too far right to win. We shall see.
