I do not condone what Dorner did - the murders he committed nor most of the personal beliefs he held. He was wrong to kill anyone, especially innocent family members. His rants against God and the Bible sadden me, because one's rejection of God leaves him without hope of salvation.
While I don't condone the actions of Dorner, I also am angry (but not surprised) by the actions of the LAPD. The LAPD is comprised of corrupt thugs in uniform, who have no interest in the motto: "To Serve and Protect." If there was any doubt of corruption in the LAPD, it was put to rest with this manhunt.
Three innocent civilians were shot at, one wounded, by the LAPD. Two Hispanic women were shot at while delivering newspapers. One is in ICU with 2 bullets in her back. The other was hit by flying glass. Link In a separate incident, a Caucasian man was driving a truck that was rammed into by a police cruiser, then shot at by the cops.Link
Christopher Dorner was a tall, husky black man; these were 2 hispanic females and a caucasian man. Unfortunately, hate and the lust for blood blind people and lead to incidents like this.
It appears, barring any Bourne-like surprise escapes, Christopher Dorner is dead. I was listening to abc radio live footage and reports had the police surrounding a cabin where Dorner was, then launching an incendiary device into the cabin; a fire started, a lone gunshot was heard, then more rounds went off as the cabin burned to the ground.
The LAPD would have you believe otherwise. Their official version is they approached the cabin, broke windows, tossed in tear gas and demanded he surrender. Then they began bulldozing the walls, one by one. After the last wall fell, they heard a gunshot, then the fire started.
Quote:
Just before 5 p.m., authorities smashed the cabin’s windows, pumped in tear gas and called for the suspect to surrender, officials said. They got no response. Then, using a demolition vehicle, they tore down the cabin’s walls one by one. When they reached the last wall, they heard a gunshot. Then the cabin burst into flames, officials said.
Does anyone believe really believe that garbage? Here they go again, lying and covering up the gangland-style justice they served on Dorner. What happened to his 5th and 6th amendment rights? Make no mistake, even if Dorner would have stripped naked and walked out of the cabin with his hands raised, he was a dead man. The police would have riddled his body with lead and then made up a story of Dorner bursting out of the cabin, guns blazing.
There is a youtube video out there and links on Drudgereport and Alex Jones' website that contains audio of police yelling obscenities and calling to burn the house down...BEFORE it burned down. Any statement by LAPD that the fire started after the cabin walls were demolished is a lie. This was gangland-style execution by the thugs in blue.
I can understand those who are glad Dorner is dead, and even those who applaud what the LAPD did by setting fire to the cabin to burn him alive instead of sending officers into harms way. But the whole thing is disconcerting to me. There was no trial, no evidence presented, no jury verdict. Just the LAPD serving as Judge, Jury and Executioner.
And miraculously his wallet and driver's license survived the fire..............I don't think the truth will ever be known, if it was even him that died there in the first place.

There is the capture and killing of Dorner. I have no problem with that. Not one single life should have been put in jeapordy in capturing that guy so even if they tossed a firebomb into the house and waited for him to come out to a hail of gunfire I would be happy.
The second part, that being the attacks on innocent people is far different. There should be no tollerance for that kind of behavior. I agree with the lawyer of the guy whos car was rammed. BAFOONERY.
LAPD needs a complete overhaul.

Ditto me on this post. Those women should sue and they should win big. I normally do not like lawsuits that the taxpayers end up paying but that was just ridicoulous that "professional" peace officiers would just jump the gun and start firing at that pickup truck because it was suspicious.
In the last 30 years I think the quality of cops and truck drivers has gone down a lot in this country!

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Since Waco these things are more common. When something comes down to a manhunt like this and it goes down like this did my first thought is what did he know that they needed to silence so badly.
The problem is that we can be told things that are half truths are no truth at all but we all take it in hook, line & sinker just because that is what the news tells us.
This is what trials are for. This is what our justice system is for. As America becomes more and more comfortable with just eliminating who the news told us is so completely unsavory then the "need" for true justice leaves our minds.

Ya, just toss all that due process junk go ahead and execute him.
The actions of the LAPD and their fellows was a criminal act covered up with a badge. They were intent on one thing, revenge, not justice.

Guess I'm not getting it... I am sure they repeatedly asked him to surrender. He could have done just that and had his day in court. He chose not to - its that simple.
