Actually, libertarianism will only
de-nationalize these issues and leave them up to the States.
THAT is what our Founding Father wanted. Many Christians are just as bad as the leftists, wanting to usurp unconstitutional authority to impose their will on everyone from the top down. What they fail to see is that the Christian right will get 90% of its agenda by default if we had a constiutional/libertarian form of government. There would be no branch of the federal government dictating to the States on issues such as prayer in school, gay marriage , and abortion. But that means these things would remain legal in some States. The Christian right seems to want "
all or nothing". They just can't tolerate the thought of gay marriage or abortion being legal in two or three States. This short sightedness is a big problem with christians.
As for me, I plan on officially joining the Libertarian Party before the end of the year.
