Tennessee is a strong Red state. We had early voting for two weeks and they closed it on Nov 1st. If you missed the deadline, you had to vote 5 days later on election day.
I had some friends say that when they entered the polling place, they only asked for their name and address and looked it up on the computer.
There was NO personal identification asked for at all! In other words, if you knew the name of a neighbor that wasn't going to vote, you could vote for them! Just crazy stuff!
I would bet you that there are probably short lines in those precincts that had long, long lines in other local and statewide elections that take place there. Volunteers come from within the precinct, and there probably wasn't enough volunteers to help. Who knows? I doubt if it was a conspiracy!
