Re: Prediction About The Coming Of Christ
What brings you to that prediction?
I personally don't doubt it myself, although I would never stand on it and call it an absolute... because I don't see how that is possible, since Jesus clearly stated no man knows the day or the hour....

Re: Prediction About The Coming Of Christ
Here it is! Why Jesus will not come before the man of sin comes first:
2 Thess. 2:1-3
1Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,2That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled , neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand . 3Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed , the son of perdition;

a couple other opinions on that verse are:
that day (tribulation) will not happen until the man of sin is revealed
and
some translate "falling away" as "departure" or "leaving" or "catching away" as a designation of the rapture.
I've heard it taught both ways

Paul tho defines THAT DAY as the day Jesus comes and gathers his Church together.
1Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,2That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled , neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand . 3Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed , the son of perdition;

Some think that day in verse 3 refers to the day of Christ (or time of tribulation or day of the Lord) in verse 2.
not arguing, just showing that there are differences of opinion on this among Christians.

No one knows the day or hour. But we obviously can know that its not before the man of sin comes on the scene since thats what Paul said. He was just teaching them from what Jesus taught in Mattt 24:29-31
29Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened , and the moon shall not giveher light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken :30And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn , and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.31And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other

Mens opinions are divisive. The word itself is what matters.
The day of Christ is the same thing as the day of the Lord. If it read the day of the Lord it would still be talking about the coming of Jesus.
Note that Peter and Paul both describe the coming of the Lord as the rapture by saying it comes as a thief in the night.
Paul
1But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye haveno need that I write unto you.2For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 1 Thess 5:1-2
Peter
10But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat , the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 2 Peter 3:10
So it makes no difference between the day of Christ or the day of the Lord.
Jesus is BOTH Lord and Christ.
36Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified , both Lord and Christ. Acts 2:36
