Global Network Conference

Attended GNCM Conference this morning at Grace Church. It was very good.
Stovall Weems, Joe Champion and Kevin Gerald speaking. Good crowd. Strong coffee. (Someone from Louisiana must have made it. You could almost chew it.) Saw Sherri!

I have seen so many lies posted. The best one is the one Triumphant 1 did his best to combat. You know, the hair cutting party thing?

Prominent members of this board chose to believe the lie and even continue to spread it, even though T1 had totally proved it was false.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Re: Global Network Conference

Sounds interesting BT! What are the subjects being discussed?

Is Joe Champion pastor of a church in Georgetown, TX? I have a friend who used to be a part of his congregation.

Hey Elder, Stoval Weems is a good guy really funny and a good teacher. He is the Pastor of the Celebration Church here in Jacksonville we have some dear friends that are part of the church. We went there when we first moved here. On a side note he baptizes in the authority of Jesus and the name of the FSHG and he said the reason is because does want anybody to try tell them that thier Baptism is not real. I think he has some experince with the OP's from Louisiana as he is from Louisiana!

I know that you were blessed!

So that would make you Been Blessed

Mike

You actually went to a conference where there might be -gasp- -choke- alleged trinitarians? Have you torn 2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1 from your KJV Bible?
