One baptized in Jesus' Name tonight.
We baptized one in church tonight, and is there ever a story behind that.
Sunday night, we were in church, and the Spirit began to move and caused rejoicing in the congregation. As almost all of us have the Holy Ghost, we got excited and enthusiastic in our worship. Three of us reported hearing what sounded like many other people worshipping with us. We all heard many voices singing and speaking in tongues, but as our congregation is only 8 people when all who attend are present, this was not difficult to understand.
One lady whom started coming a few months ago and had received the Holy Ghost a few weeks ago, felt Jesus call her to the altar to worship at His feet. While she was there, she heard Him tell her, "You need the water." During the testimony service, she stated that she knew God was telling her to be baptized.
We filled the baptistry during Monday night prayer meeting, and she was baptized the the name of Jesus' tonight. THen we had an excellent Bible study to finish our service.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
