Muslim Attacks on U.S.A.

Why is this stuff going on in Libya and Egypt and now other parts of the world?
Why are we being attacked by Muslims on the anniversary of 9/11?

This video is a couple of years ago but gives a pretty good explanation.

I believe it's Al Queda or some other Jihadist group stirring up strife, usually in young disgruntled men

Why? Let's not, and say we didn't, even.
Prolly sounds obtuse, at first, huh?
Believe me, when you begin ignoring it,
it will still be there; only you will have changed-
-for the better.

Re: Muslim Attacks on U.S.A.

Ok, here's another way to put what
bugs me about this, coming from a
Christian perspective:

Now we have a face, a scapegoat, if you will,
it is now THOSE BASTARDS that one will
inevitably, improperly associate with
something that GOD did to you,
and now your premises are
revealed, in that you
found an enemy
where there
was none.

Instead of seeking after the effect,
why not discover the cause?
When a man's ways revere God,
He makes even his enemies to be
at peace with him.
(Does this sound like a fair characterization of US?)

Belaboring an examination of the instrument
will not help you overcome the Wielder, here.
This is self-inflicted, and in effect, this is asking "why?" inappropriately, imo,
and by believers, not the lost of a nation. Pretty sure a nation
is judged by its believers. Anyway, peace.

Re: Muslim Attacks on U.S.A.

The Muslim culture is completely beyond me. What exactly do they think they'll accomplish by burning buildings and killing people? A movie you don't like was made thousands of miles away and you do all of this? For what? To make the US go against it's own constitution and 400 year system of law and ban the movie because it offends you? Have we sent memos to any of these world leaders to inform them that that's not how that works?

The Holy Koran tells them to kill the infidels (those who believe differently than they do) so when they bomb, maim, and kill they are just practicing their religion

Also, how would a Muslim have any concept of something like free speech?

Sorry Sam, this is not an untruth; it is just a lie. The Qur'an states explicitly, in many, many places, that one who indulges in violence has lost their way; try the opening paragraph. You have taken a verse similar to "I come not to bring peace, but a sword," and completely slaughtered it, a la Been Thinkin', next door.

And I find the Muslim concept of Free Speech much more refined than, sadly, yours. They mostly recog that the power of life and death is there
in a way you demonstrate that you do not, and you can trust that when a Muslim speaks, they realize that they will be called to account for their words. You may only be forgiven because it is obvious that you are
speaking like a child, uninformed.

Yikes, I expect this from the haters, but you, Sam?
Are you completely oblivious that it is God who allows?

I'll see you guys; I'm going to go find some
fags or some wiccans to talk to; they are
making more sense.
