To Blast The Preachers and Teachers

Please take this straight to your preachers. WHERE are you? Why are you and yours not in these kind of forums full force? WHERE do you think the sinners are and the unlearned? In your arenas? WHY are you catering to those who supposedly already know Christ? WHY aren't you in the world finding out what answers are needed to increase your flocks? WHY are you stuck in your own little cubicles and forum corners preaching to your own choirs? WHY aren't you where you are needed? FEED THE SHEEP!! It's the sick in need of physician not the ones who should already know how to interpret the Bible for themselves--teach them to seek God on their own and get in the real arena--THE WORLD. And when you do preach in your churches don't cater to those in the church for fear of your pay check---Preach FOR God and you will inherit the increase.
Now, I'm off my righteous horse---Let's ALL get busy where needed
Yeshua Bless You
P.S.--the BEST place to find the world is in these forums where people are SEEKING answers--use your fingers and your brains.

Re: To Blast The Preachers and Teachers

There are dozens of preachers who post here. Unfortunately, not as much as previously.

Sheila, I do agree with much of your premise here, I strongly disagree with your statement that these forums are the best place to find the lost!!!

In fact, I applaud the preachers who stay out of these places, and actually go out into their "real" world and reach the lost!

My point is that the internet is the fastest and easiest way to connect the WHOLE world. It's at our fingertips. Forums are a way for SOME preachers to see that their doctrine may not be complete and to bring ALL Christians together under the SAME doctrine--His.

I don't think a forum is the best place to come if I'm trying to find out
how to be saved. Too many differing thoughts and ways from so many
folks. Would be very confusing and might even cause
me to give up totally.

I'm a pastor and completely disagree with this judgmental and self-serving screed. You would be as the children of Israel, rushing to place all responsibility for things God has asked you to do on to Moses' shoulders and absolving yourself of any responsibilities. It is this very mentality that creates unbiblical expectations and fosters a spirit of criticism.

Hey, deadbeat pastor, you're not living up to my absurdly unrealistic expectations.

Remind me again the purpose that God had for pastors(Ephesians 4:11-14, 1 Peter 5:1-3)? Oh, yes, here it is...perfecting of the saints, work of the ministry, and the edifying of the body...THE MAIN FOCUS of the work of the pastor is the church, the saints, the flock of God.

And, in case you haven't noticed, there are plenty of "sick", "wounded", and "discouraged" folks who attend church regularly who need to be ministered to.

Declaring the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the responsibility of everyone who has been born of the Spirit. Testifying of what the Lord is able to do and, in turn, bringing hope to those who seek hope, is the job of every child of God.

Re: To Blast The Preachers and Teachers

Pastors are usually busy visiting the sick, teaching bible studies to the lost or visiting Visitors to see if they will come back or do a bible study.

With cities of over 150k people you can be sure there are plenty of souls there.

Also Pastors seem to have their own lives nowadays...yep gone are the days when men were forced to be single.

also there seem to be as many non-preachers that know as much, perhaps more, about the word than many preachers here

  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Let's not blame her

Many preachers ACT is if people like her are nothing but sheeple and there is a special clergy class or as we call them "Ministers" that are called to do all or get credit for doing

I rarely ever see a non "Minister" getting credit for all the hours spent praying for souls or bringing souls to church or witnessing to them.

Many "Apostolics" have followed/bought into the clergy paradigm from Rome. Many protestants kept it

Rather the entire body should be considers ministers "a kingdom of priests"

Re: To Blast The Preachers and Teachers

Some of them are too busy building little kingdoms for themselves.

We live in a fickle society where we blast preachers. Then preachers say we are all supposed to go and share the gospel...which is absolutely correct.

Yet, in these parts, when a saint wants to have a prayer meeting in their home, or a bible study, the pastor's try to stop it. We've actually had one pastor say no because "It could get out of hand". HUH?

So....what's a saint to do?
