PO and Others "Tea Party"?

Do you think it is time for the Tea Party to become a party with candidates like the RNC and Dems and even the Independents.

I see the RNC blending into another dem party and I am sick to death of this nonesense.

What do you think?

I am sick to death of this nonsense.
Should be completely outside a believer's sphere, imo.

Re: PO and Others "Tea Party"?

The Tea Party is all over the place and nothing like it started out to be - strictly a Constitutional Party. The Republicans really messed that one up.

You are right, the Republicans are merging with the Democrats. Romney is set to take us further in that direction.

My take, for this year, is that the Libertarian Party is going to get more votes than it has in the past, opening up the idea of a more viable third party. Not sure that's a bad thing. Romney's offensive moves are just making people angry. IOW, if you are not on the Romney train, you are probably ticked off. That's about 20% of the constituency and could be more. Many are going to vote for Gary Johnson and many won't vote at all. Johnson is polling at 5% right now. That is more than a Libertarian has ever had.

My only issue would be legalizing a "gateway" drug, so some of the social issues the Libertarians support, I don't think America is for that. They just happen to be the only party, right now, that is strong on the Constitutional issues.

I think we are railroaded and am not sure "we the people" can effect change anymore. I saw that more this election than ever. Both Romney and Obama have engaged in dishonest, mafia campaign tactics.

I listened to a clip of Rush Limbaugh, don't listen to his show, but catch some of what he says. He went on to say that we will "survive as a nation" if Obama gets re-elected. Now, ALL this time they have been wanting people to feel desperate, afraid, frantic, panicked and discombobulated. lol

And now he is saying we will recover. That just burns me up all the stupid drama the media, and not just him alone, have put out. I do agree with him that we will survive, I just don't agree with all the fear mongering.

Thank you for your comment. Did you have somewhere else to go? Like off the end of a short pier?

Re: PO and Others "Tea Party"?

i think the 2 major parties will continue to reform and adapt to whatever the political winds are. reform, libertarian, tea, green, it doesn't matter. the major parties will incorporate their policy positions. i don't understand why romney is alienating latinos and women. after romney loses some reforms will be considered. white males won't be able to do it on their own. a republican/latino coalition is the most obvious. if romney loses, racism loses because republicans need to expand the coalition. in what direction do you think the republican party will go after romney loses?

I am so against taking any chance of B O getting reelected!

I think a third party will put BO back in.

This would be a hoot if Gary Johnson won. Not expecting that, but it might be a nice change for our country and a kick in the pants to the other two parties, who are worthless.

Florida continues to side with Gary Johnson in presidential race

What is interesting about the voters who have taken the iSideWith.com quiz in Florida is they like Gary Johnson mostly for his stance on healthcare, domestic policy and immigration.

Time will tell if Floridians abide by their principles as they have outlaid in the privacy at their own computers or be swayed by non-issue related rhetoric spilling out of their television sets via campaign ads and by peer pressure.
